Interface and field study

SwitchTube provides an Explore interface with recommendations, a Focus interface centered on search, and a switch between the two. A three-week field deployment involved 46 U.S. participants.

What we learned

Participants reported improvements in agency, satisfaction, and goal alignment. These findings concern the studied interfaces and participants; they do not establish a general reduction in screen time.
